Environmental Technician II Job Description

Clean Earth is a leading provider of environmental services with a strong commitment to sustainability and compliance. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Technician II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Separate, sort, and package hazardous materials for transport and treatment
  • Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area during the course of the shift
  • Follow safety protocols for assigned tasks
  • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Ability to wear company-provided personal protection equipment
  • Ability to move or lift 50lbs with the use of equipment if needed
  • Ability to follow written or verbal procedures consistently
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift, and possess a safe driving record
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations
  • Basic chemistry knowledge
