About the Position

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Project Manager to join its dynamic team of water resource engineers and water quality specialists. In this position, you will assist clients in developing strategic, cost-effective, and forward-thinking solutions to their water resource, ecological restoration, transportation, and environmental challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Identify short-term deadlines, deliverables, and tasks, as well as long-term client goals.
  • Track budgets, schedules, staff availability, and ensure internal and external intermediate and final deadlines are met.
  • Assist with identifying and pursuing new clients and leverage existing relationships to continue providing valuable services.
  • Conduct or lead staff in conducting water resources-related studies and analysis.
  • Support related water resources work, including integrated water resources planning, resiliency planning, watershed management, and stormwater control planning.
  • Prepare reports for stormwater analyses and designs.
  • Work within a team to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for environmental, land development, transportation, and water resources projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or water resource engineering or a related field.
  • P.E. licensure expected or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 5-8 years of stormwater, water quality, and/or regulatory experience, including project management experience.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring desired.
  • AutoCAD and GIS experience strongly desired.
