Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Associate to join our Finance Shared Services team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for the full-cycle processing of U.S. bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using Workday software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process U.S. payrolls by established deadlines, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors by investigating, collecting, and analyzing information, providing excellent customer service to employees.
  • Upload Garnishments received daily to vendor, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconcile Quarterly tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist payroll team with new state registrations for State Income tax and Unemployment, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist payroll team in resolution for Federal and State Tax notices, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Perform Year-end Processing (W-2, W-2c processing), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, recommending new processes to improve performance and efficiency within the payroll function.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Assist with special projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably with in-house payroll experience.
  • Experience with Workday payroll software, with a strong understanding of payroll practices and procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll taxation, including local taxes, and a solid understanding of multi-state and federal payroll, tax, and employment laws.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Dedicated attention to detail and accuracy, with a positive attitude and a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Great time management and organization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
