The Human Resource Coordinator provides support for recruiting tasks to the HR Manager at the Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists managers with workforce planning and talent acquisition functions.
- Facilitates the on-boarding process for new employees.
- Processes employment-related personnel transactions and maintains accurate personnel files.
- Provides administrative support, including preparing personnel statistical reports and listings.
- Interprets company personnel policies and procedures.
- Responds to HR inquiries from managers and employees regarding benefits, status changes, and other general inquiries.
- Assists with new-hire orientations, open enrollment, and annual compliance tasks.
- Performs additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Four-year business degree or equivalent combination of training and/or related experience.
- Three or more years of experience in Human Resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and document management software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
