Job Summary

The Human Resource Coordinator provides support for recruiting tasks to the HR Manager at the Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists managers with workforce planning and talent acquisition functions.
  • Facilitates the on-boarding process for new employees.
  • Processes employment-related personnel transactions and maintains accurate personnel files.
  • Provides administrative support, including preparing personnel statistical reports and listings.
  • Interprets company personnel policies and procedures.
  • Responds to HR inquiries from managers and employees regarding benefits, status changes, and other general inquiries.
  • Assists with new-hire orientations, open enrollment, and annual compliance tasks.
  • Performs additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Four-year business degree or equivalent combination of training and/or related experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and document management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
