Job Title: System Administrator

BTI is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 platform and cloud infrastructure systems.
  • Administer Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Purview Records Management for data compliance.
  • Oversee enterprise backup/restore processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Administer and maintain VMWare VCenter for virtual environments.
  • Monitor system performance, perform upgrades, and ensure the security of all systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator.
  • Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365, Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience with cloud servers and cloud infrastructure systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with VMWare VCenter and enterprise backup/restore systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage system upgrades and security.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred.
