About the Role

Civica Rx is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician Production Specialist to join our team at our Petersburg site. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sterile fill finish equipment, including Fillers with integrated Isolators, ATEC processing, Terminal Sterilizers, Parts Washers, Autoclaves, Single-Use Technology, and Aseptic Process Simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on process equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with production operators and engineering personnel to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and reduce the risk of equipment failure.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work carried out and equipment installed is safe, effective, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with production operators, engineering personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in a sterile fill finish environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of an associate's degree in a technical discipline or technical school/ Auto Mechanic Program certificate.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of GMP and industry best practices, ability to complete paperwork neatly and correctly, effective organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ATEC, Terminal Sterilizers, Parts Washers, and Autoclaves: Previous experience with these types of equipment is highly desirable.
  • Process Improvement Experience: Experience in a process improvement environment, including change management, is a plus.
