Job Summary:

Fuyao Glass America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine equipment inspections to identify potential failure risks and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; electro welding certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist will work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to extreme temperatures. Steel-toed work boots and safety glasses are required.
