Job Overview:

Rite-Hite Sales Professionals work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. Our customer base includes industrial and commercial businesses, with a focus on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position that will focus on capital equipment sales, large projects, and accounts. You will be responsible for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers, and introducing new products to the territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their goals.
  • Prospect and secure new customers, identifying opportunities for capital equipment sales and large projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

A 4-year degree and a minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting are required. Our Sales Representatives must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as a good mechanical aptitude. They must also have knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territories on a daily basis.
