Position Overview

The iPhone Division is on the lookout for a dedicated Systems Analog Design Engineer. You will collaborate within a dynamic and innovative engineering team focused on developing next-generation iPhone products. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, execution, and integration of various analog function blocks and subsystems, including power management, audio systems, battery management, and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with cross-functional teams for system integration of function blocks, which includes schematic and layout evaluations, production testing, manufacturing assistance, system validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct hardware prototyping and demonstrations.
  • Contribute to the drafting and review of datasheets for multiple integrated circuits (ICs).
  • Oversee the complete IC design cycle, which includes design reviews, initial setup, bench characterization, and bug tracking.

Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Strong foundation in analog/mixed-signal principles (noise, linearity, signal integrity in mixed-signal systems).
  • In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal components (speaker amplifiers, codecs, microphones, operational amplifiers, filters, ADCs, DACs, output drivers).
  • Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensors, and sensor-interface circuits.
  • Experience in prototyping, characterizing, and debugging mixed-signal hardware.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with digital communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, I2S, PDM, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab and Python.

Education & Experience
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
