We are seeking a skilled Physiatry Physician to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Locum Physiatry Physician in Hartford, CT, providing inpatient care with no night shifts, weekends, or holidays required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and document discharge summaries and medical records
- Participate in clinical staffing and care plan meetings
- Provide weekly care plan documentation
- Handle pre-admission screenings and ensure documentation aligns with CMS guidelines
- Prescribe narcotics as necessary
Requirements:
- ACLS Certification
- Board Certification in Physiatry (PM&R)
- Active Connecticut medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA registration
- Proficiency in specialized PM&R procedures including stroke management, amputations, and traumatic brain injury (TBI)
