About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Priority Business Growth and Acquisition. This role will be responsible for executing the priority business growth opportunity of doubling our premium from $500 million to $1 billion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and partner with quoting and enrollment technology providers, general agents, and create a presale and acquisition modernization model leveraging The Hartford's Priority Benefits technology platform.
  • Set growth, partner, and efficiency priorities and drive execution of the priority business digital-first strategies in each of these areas.
  • Work closely with Group Benefits leaders and functional partners across the company to deliver a transformational underwriting and presale framework and an enhanced sales and onboarding experience to our Priority Business customers and sales, broker, and GA partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant commercial business experience with at least two years of current or recent experience in digital platforms and/or transformation in a large corporate setting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship skills with experience presenting and public speaking.
  • Superior understanding of business vision and strategy with experience using data analysis to inform value-added recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and financial savvy with experience managing financials and/or a budget.
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership role with managerial accountabilities in a large corporate setting.
What We Offer

The Hartford offers a competitive annualized base pay range of $169,360 - $254,040, as well as a comprehensive total compensation package that includes short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
