About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our product team as Director, Product Management, to help us achieve our goals in the small business segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of small businesses and developing solutions to address their pain points.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of capabilities to deepen engagement with existing customers, reduce churn, scale existing target markets, and unlock new use cases.
  • Partner with the commercial team to have a strong point of view on how to sequence the build and launch of value-added services.
  • Work with product teams to ensure that value-added services work seamlessly with existing products in the portfolio.
  • Represent the 'voice of the customer' and target market approach across the business unit.
  • Define the product roadmap to ensure we're building the right solutions for our current and future target markets.
  • Influence cross-functionally across Product, Commercial teams, Design, Sales, and Growth to drive alignment on strategy, narrative, and priorities.
  • Work closely with GTM on how to bring our value-added services to market and create adoption and engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in fintech, payments, or financial services companies that cater to SMB customers.
  • Good understanding of SMB merchant needs in the US and Europe.
  • Experience leading products that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy, and product roadmap for large-scale products.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
  • Global experience a plus.
  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed environments.
