Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Clark Construction Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of projects, creating project plans, and communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery, including contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company contracts and relationships with stakeholders.
  • Secure necessary permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
  • Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activities and ensure project progress.
  • Lead, train, and develop project team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare and submit regular project status reports to stakeholders, outlining project priorities and issues.
  • Lead project close-out, including turnover of project manuals and warranties, and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering, and design firms.
  • Establish project deadlines and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Participate in proposals and presentations to support business development.
  • Drive a culture of safety on project sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Support the company's acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations.
  • Provide leadership to foster an inclusive and diverse work environment.
  • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win new business opportunities.
  • Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team, identifying, hiring, and retaining outstanding employees.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of construction experience, preferably working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects.
  • Healthcare project experience is required, with a strong understanding of OSHPD/HCAI projects.
  • 4+ years of experience leading, developing, and motivating teams.
  • Strong understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
  • Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
  • Strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • DBIA and LEED Accreditation is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Clark Construction Group offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role, the base salary range is $83,200-220,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
