Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will leverage extensive project management expertise to guide cross-functional teams in achieving key technical development objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of complex technical product development initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Create comprehensive project plans and schedules, analyzing critical paths and mitigating risks to maintain project momentum.
  • Align project outputs with the broader Technical Development Team’s strategic goals, ensuring adherence to the Lifecycle Team's Target Product Profile.
  • Utilize knowledge of design controls and risk management to implement phase-based methodologies that comply with Quality System Requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Device Team on design control strategies, documentation, and design reviews to maintain a complete and compliant Design History File.
  • Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contract organizations, to facilitate project success.
  • Work closely with the Device Team Leader to define and execute the device and technology strategy.
  • Encourage effective decision-making and resolution of issues while managing project risks.
  • Lead productive team meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders and governance bodies.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, monitoring team dynamics and promoting team-building activities.
  • Estimate and negotiate resource requirements for project execution, ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Manage project updates and information sharing, addressing any unexpected challenges that may impact timelines or resources.
  • Oversee the standardization of project processes and knowledge management, utilizing appropriate technology and templates.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in the medical device or pharmaceutical/biotech sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Project management certification(s) are advantageous.
