Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Position Overview
As a key player in our regulatory team, you will lead strategic project management efforts for significant regulatory filings across various jurisdictions. This includes rate cases, resource planning, compliance filings, and other essential regulatory initiatives aimed at aligning with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the project management of major regulatory cases, ensuring thorough evaluation, preparation, and execution of filings.
- Articulate Xcel Energy's positions on specific regulatory issues.
- Enhance the efficiency and quality of regulatory submissions through effective project management.
- Facilitate internal and external communications, including the development of messaging and media strategies.
- Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to compliance schedules.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory documents, including testimony, exhibits, and filing packages, ensuring alignment with regulatory commission requirements. You will lead interdisciplinary teams to tackle case-related challenges and identify necessary business group involvement for successful filings.
Develop tools and resources to keep management informed on case progress and suggest alternative strategies for case processing. You will also analyze potential outcomes of various strategies to support informed decision-making and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in the regulatory domain.
- Proven expertise in navigating competitive regulatory issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated starting base pay for this position ranges from $92,300.00 to $130,567.00 annually. This role is eligible for a variety of benefits, including an Annual Incentive Program, comprehensive health plans, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
