Position Overview

The Senior Healthcare Compliance Specialist will be a vital member of CONMED's Advanced Surgical Division, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing. This role is crucial for ensuring that our division adheres to effective compliance practices and procedures. You will also oversee compliance related to specific arrangements with healthcare professionals and entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of training programs, policies, and guidance aligned with business objectives and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate proposed arrangements with healthcare professionals and draft necessary agreements.
  • Manage the healthcare professional engagement platform, including consultant contract reviews and applications for grants, donations, and sponsorships.
  • Oversee the collection of annual Business Needs Assessments, working closely with Regional and Business Unit leaders.
  • Conduct data analysis on various metrics, including Needs Assessments and audits related to modest meal limits and healthcare practitioner transfers of value.
  • Develop initiatives to ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, simplicity, and responsiveness, while proposing enhancements to the Compliance program based on industry trends and best practices.
  • Support the Compliance team in regularly reporting on the status of the compliance program.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide additional support to the Senior Director of Marketing and engage in broader projects for the Marketing Department as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of compliance experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical device environment.
  • Willingness to travel 10%-30% of the time.
  • This position does not offer employer-based sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship. The annual salary range is between $65,000 and $105,000, with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. This salary range reflects CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
