Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As an Echo Cardiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to support the care of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, and Stress Echocardiograms
  • Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiograms, including processing orders and reports
  • Transport patients to and from the department for testing as needed
  • Assist with other duties in the diagnostic cardiology department, such as EKGs, Holter Monitoring, and Stress Testing
  • Maintain accurate records for cleaning and maintaining equipment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification
