Job Summary

Cornell University Hospital for Animals is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care, support our veterinarians, and contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including restraint, anesthesia, and surgical assistance
  • Support veterinarians with medical procedures, exams, and consultations
  • Assist with patient receiving, handling, and monitoring
  • Participate in patient education and communication with clients
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience
  • New York State licensure or eligibility to become licensed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
