Contributes to assessments as defined by scope of practice and unit standards.
Addresses the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout their care journey.
Reinforces patient and family education, addressing family needs and discharge planning during hospitalization.
Delivers direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions and care plans based on patient responses.
Initiates collaboration with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members, taking proactive measures to address and facilitate patient needs.
Engages in unit-based decision-making regarding the application of evidence-based practices.Provides input to management for performance evaluations of care delivery team members.
Mentors and precepts new staff and students in a professional and positive manner as assigned.
