Geisinger Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Advanced Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Leadership and Professional Development: Participate in unit-based decision-making, contribute to evidence-based practice, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Education: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cardiac telemetry unit or similar setting.
- Certifications and Licenses: Basic Life Support Certification and a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
