Geisinger Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Advanced Acute Care Trauma Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care to meet individual needs, including physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and diagnostic studies, as well as educating patients and families on health management.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary personnel, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs and other initiatives to improve departmental and organizational quality and safety.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
