Geisinger Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Advanced Acute Care Surgical Telemetry Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and conducting diagnostic studies.
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs and other activities designed to improve departmental and organizational quality and safety.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
