Department Overview

The Department of Pharmacy Administration and Public Health within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking qualified candidates for two full-time tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Pharmacy Administration. The focus of the Pharmacy Administration program is to train professionals and graduate students in practice-oriented, patient-centered, and outcomes-driven scholarship. Our graduates are equipped to become leaders in their fields, thriving in collaborative interprofessional environments. The faculty is dedicated to academic excellence, research, and community service, supported by the University’s strategic location, experienced faculty, and diverse graduate student body.

Key Responsibilities

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the profession through innovative teaching, research, and community service. Responsibilities include developing and delivering courses in Pharmacy Administration, covering topics such as Social and Behavioral Aspects of Healthcare, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics and Outcomes, Healthcare Finance, Marketing and Management, and Healthcare Systems. Additional teaching assignments may be allocated based on departmental needs. Successful candidates will collaborate with a team of active researchers committed to advancing practice-focused, patient-centered scholarship. Mentoring students and participating in university committees are also integral to this role.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration or related health sciences fields, with a preference for candidates with a background in Pharmacy.

Compensation

The salary range for the Assistant Professor position is $105,000 - $115,000, while the Associate Professor position ranges from $120,000 - $135,000.
