Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex Partnership Returns: Provide detailed review and analysis of complex partnership returns with a focus on real estate clients.
  • Communication and Risk Management: Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical manner to facilitate communication between the client and the service team while managing the risk for both the client and the firm.
  • Partnership Tax Services: Advise clients on a full spectrum of partnership tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general structuring and acquisitions activities.
  • Real Estate Projects: Lead and manage real estate projects.
  • Client Communications: Initiate and manage client communications.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the real Estate tax practice and cross-departmentally to gather information and make recommendations.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist/Review tax compliance to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation of clients' tax returns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Public Accounting Experience: 7+ years of public accounting, with a deep understanding of corporate tax, real estate, and partnerships tax consulting projects in various industries.
  • CPA Licensure: CPA licensure.
  • Specialized Real Estate Experience: Specialized real estate experience, required.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate progression in leadership abilities.
  • Work Quality and Career Achievements: Solid track record of career achievements and work quality.
