Concrete Production Specialist

This role is essential for managing the complete functioning, output, upkeep, quality assurance, and safety protocols of a concrete batching facility. The individual will also oversee onsite staff, including drivers and yard personnel. A Batchman is tasked with operating the plant to accurately measure and combine aggregates, cement, and water to create concrete that meets specified standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of the plant.
- Supervise all operational activities; organize and track daily tasks within the plant while ensuring cleanliness is maintained.
- Guarantee that all products fulfill 100% quality standards; confirm that all machinery is functioning correctly, complete necessary reports promptly and accurately, and notify appropriate personnel of any quality issues that arise.
- Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with all company safety regulations and policies.
- Oversee drivers and manage both outgoing and incoming deliveries effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Possibility of requiring mechanical repair skills using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Some experience in personnel or team management is necessary (e.g., warehouse managers, logistics managers, retail managers).
- Experience in Redi-Mix, production, or field construction is preferred.
Compensation: $17-23 per hour, depending on experience.
