Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our team in Cranston, RI. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both prospective and current customers, enhancing their business relationship with the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Quality Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Answer Customer Calls: Handle a high volume of customer calls, actively listening to their needs and providing solutions to resolve their issues.
  • Drive Sales and Retention: Cross-sell and upsell products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and create new ones.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Acknowledge and report customer complaints to supervisors in a timely manner, ensuring that customer issues are addressed promptly.
  • Perform Outgoing Calls: Make outgoing calls to customers as needed, providing product information and answering questions.
  • Loan Servicing and Applications: Assist customers with loan applications, quoting rates, and providing product information.
  • Internet and Online Banking: Assist customers with online banking products, troubleshooting issues, and setting up Business Online Banking enrollments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Customer Focus: Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Sales Orientation: Must be able to identify opportunities to sell products and services to customers.
  • Experience: Must have experience in a customer service environment, with a strong understanding of banking products and services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using a Windows-based PC, Microsoft Office, and online banking systems.
