Representative Payee Manager

Agate Housing and Services is seeking a highly skilled Representative Payee Manager to join our team. As a Representative Payee Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team of Representative Payees, ensuring compliance with Social Security, SSI, and State of Minnesota conservator program rules, and providing exceptional financial management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage finances accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment of rent and utilities for clients.
- Assist Representative Payees in creating budgets and managing client finances effectively.
- Monitor and approve financial transactions, including check disbursements and ACH transfers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including the fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to ensure the Representative Payee Department is functioning effectively and meeting established goals.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with Social Security Administration (SSA) and financial management in a social services or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of community resources, including social security, public assistance, and Medicaid systems, and HIPAA.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
