Job Title: Front Office Manager

As a Front Office Manager at B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for leading the front desk team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Foster a culture of guest satisfaction by ensuring that service standards are consistently met and exceeded. Collaborate with staff to train and model excellent guest service standards, and hold team members accountable for anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Financial Results and Cost Control: Manage expenses to maximize hotel profitability, and develop and implement cost-saving measures to meet or exceed budget targets. Utilize expertise to advise and implement changes to front desk operations, while maximizing revenue and occupancy.
  • People Management and Training: Evaluate staff performance, provide ongoing feedback, and recognize team members for their achievements. Ensure that all required training is completed, and maintain accurate training records. Promote a positive and professional work environment, and foster collaboration among team members.
  • Self/Workload Management: Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to ensure effective communication and planning. Manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines. Adhere to all B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Safety/Risk Management: Conduct routine inspections to maintain standards, and ensure a clean and safe work environment. Follow all B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures for guest and team member incidents.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 2+ years of customer service and 1+ year supervisory/management experience required. Must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to problem-solve with team members and guests.
  • Physical: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
