Contract Manager Job Description

Smart Synergies is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing contract management on a portfolio of highly complex contracts and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Provide contract management on a portfolio of highly complex contracts and proposals.
  • Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate commercial terms and conditions, and provide day-to-day contract administration.
  • Contract Growth and Development: Support contract growth and new business captures, and develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers.
  • Proposal Preparation and Review: Prepare and review proposals, including pricing, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFAR, or other agency regulations.
  • Contract Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure contract compliance, identify and mitigate execution risks, and exercise initiative and participate in strategy development.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, or other agency regulations.
  • Contract Management Skills: Proactive administration of contracts, contract negotiation, and proposal preparation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across varied audiences.
  • Teamwork: Ability to thrive in a team environment and provide contractual support and guidance to other program personnel.
