Event Service Specialist

As an Event Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences at our prestigious events. This position requires a blend of charisma and professionalism, ensuring that every banquet event reflects the high standards of Wincome Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently transport food from the kitchen to the event space as needed.
  • Prepare and arrange tables according to event specifications.
  • Assist in food and table preparation prior to the commencement of events.
  • Set up buffet stations with a focus on food presentation and safety protocols.
  • Serve plated meals to guests, promptly addressing requests for beverages and appetizers.
  • Clear used dishes and utensils between courses to maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, fellow servers, and event planners.
  • Serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine service.
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing surfaces and ensuring adherence to health standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service throughout the event.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Exhibit a warm and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on attentive and courteous service.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and address guest concerns effectively.
  • Proficient in multitasking and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in restaurant or banquet service is preferred.
  • Commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Experience in a high-end hospitality environment is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to varying temperatures and physical demands.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to move furniture and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility in approach.
  • Maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Valid Food Handlers Card is required.
