  • Serve plated meals to guests and attend to beverage and appetizer requests.
  • Clear used dishes and glassware between courses.
  • Maintain clear communication with event supervisors and fellow staff members.
  • Serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Open wine and take drink orders as required.
  • Ensure tables are well-maintained by removing completed courses and replenishing utensils.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs throughout the event.
  • Sanitize surfaces including tables, chairs, and food stations regularly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with guests and team members.
  • Ability to listen and address guest concerns with care.
  • Proficient in multitasking and managing various responsibilities.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Prior experience in restaurant or banquet service is essential.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Experience in a high-end hospitality environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to temperature variations.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and performing physical tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to move furniture and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting of trays or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Ability to creatively solve problems in non-standard situations.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure environments.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid Food Handlers Card is necessary.
