Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care according to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing education and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and communicate patient care plans.
  • Develop and maintain contact with cellular therapy patients to eliminate barriers for timely treatment.
  • Provide patients with resources and linkages, including community support and assistance in meeting transplant-related needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical data required by regulatory parties for cellular therapy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • RN Licensure within the State of Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC)
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 3-5 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology or Bone Marrow Transplant
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Specialty Certification within 2 years of hire
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical, deduction, and anticipation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Conflict management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
