We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transplant Service Line Director to join our team at Jackson Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the multi-disciplinary activities of the assigned specialty, including patient care, nursing and operational management, quality assurance, and accreditation compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve quality of care, volume, scope of services, quality measures, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with hospital medical staff, administration, department heads, and nursing personnel to ensure efficient and progressive environment for patient care management.
- Promote growth of the service line through advising on recruitment of key personnel, staff development, and teaching opportunities.
- Work closely with patient community to develop and host educational programs, seminars, and outreach events for service line.
- Lead three inpatient transplant units and work closely with Miami Transplant Institute.
- 7-10 years of service line quality/accrediting compliance or related experience.
- Management experience is required.
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a clinical director, strongly preferred.
- Effective communication skills strongly preferred.
- Transplant clinical background, a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
- Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Valid Florida RN license is required.
- Advanced Nursing Administration certification is preferred.
