Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering leave of absence requests, providing employee orientation, and assisting with benefit enrollments into our HRIS system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer leave of absence requests in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide employee orientation and assist with benefit enrollments into the HRIS system.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and company-provided retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA processes and ADA implications.
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement benefit plans and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Three years' experience in FMLA and benefits administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of FMLA processes and ADA implications.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws, including ADA.
