Position Overview:

Work Schedule:
Part-time options available, with potential for full-time case building.

Compensation:
Hourly rate ranging from $40 to $46, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Work Environment:
Outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services tailored to individual therapy plans.
  • Ensure continuity of care by developing home exercise programs and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administrative records regarding patient progress and treatment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Document treatment charges daily and ensure timely completion of all paperwork.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide comprehensive care.
  • Engage in community and professional training initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Respond appropriately to urgent situations as per established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Exhibit professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Manage patient scheduling through the designated front desk coordinator.
  • Attend meetings and perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Current State Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Commitment to prioritizing the needs of clients and their families.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of pediatric speech therapy principles and practices.
  • Able to assess patient needs and communicate effectively with guardians and involved parties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with coding procedures (CPT & ICD 10).
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
