Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Electronic Systems Specialist to join our team at Amcor Flexibles, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our plant's electronic systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide maintenance support for plant electronic systems, including work orders, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure efficient utilization of equipment and tool resources to minimize waste, downtime, and unit cost.
- Communicate with team members and other plant personnel to execute the electronic maintenance program.
- Provide coverage for plant operations during production periods and support equipment maintenance during non-production times.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment as needed.
- Utilize maintenance software to create, track, and close work orders, parts orders, and inventory control.
- Solve practical problems dealing with various variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, schematic, or schedule form.
- Support all ISO 14001 Standards and Quality Objectives, comply with cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements, and Chain of Custody Program Requirements.
- Continuously sustain and improve maintenance areas to meet and exceed 5S+S standards.
- Comply with all OHSE procedures and policies, including required PPE's, standard operating procedures, quality policies, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain PLC and computer programming for the plant.
- Train other members of the Maintenance Team on plant electronic systems, functions, and operations.
- AS degree in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls or equivalent education with 3-5 years of experience, or a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 5-7 years of related work experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls.
- Minimum of eight years' experience in a manufacturing facility, with experience in a gravure printing facility a plus.
- Broad knowledge of cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, and gears, and proficiency in the operation of automated equipment.
The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. is required. This position may require prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, and/or reaching, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing, and speaking. Manual dexterity is required. Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus is necessary. Must be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs, and must be able to rotate shifts and work weekends as required.
