Key Responsibilities- Provide maintenance support for plant electronic systems, including work orders, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure efficient utilization of equipment and tool resources to minimize waste, downtime, and unit cost.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other plant personnel to execute maintenance programs.
- Provide coverage for plant operations during production periods, including regular and overtime requirements.
- Ability to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment.
- Utilize maintenance software to create, track, and close work orders, parts orders, and inventory control.
- Ability to solve practical problems dealing with various variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Support all ISO 14001 Standards and Quality Objectives, as well as cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements, and Chain of Custody Program Requirements.
- Comply with all OHSE procedures and policies, including required PPE's, standard operating procedures, quality policies, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain PLC and computer programming for the plant.
- Train other members of the Maintenance Team on plant electronic systems, functions, and operations.
- AS degree in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls or equivalent education with 3-5 years of experience, or a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 5-7 years of related work experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electronic Controls.
- Minimum of eight years' experience in a manufacturing facility, with experience in a gravure printing facility being a plus.
- Broad knowledge of cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, and gears, as well as proficiency in the operation of automated equipment.
The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. is required. This position may require prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, and/or reaching, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing, and speaking. Manual dexterity is required. Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus is necessary. Must be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs. Must be able to rotate shifts and work weekends as required.
