About the Role

Pilgrim's is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Canton, GA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and repairs to assigned equipment and machines in the production areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of industrial mechanic experience in a food industry environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills a plus.
  • Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and cold conditions.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, lift, and work with a variety of hand and power tools.
