Become a key member of our team as a Product Applications Specialist at Andritz Rolls

In this role, you will report directly to the North American Vice President of Product Management or the North American Product Manager for Rolls. Your primary objective will be to enhance the sales of Andritz Rolls offerings by providing application expertise and product support to the sales force. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Research & Development to define and meet product line goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with field sales representatives for product demonstrations and assessments.
  • Foster robust customer relationships and remain attuned to customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the innovation of new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on strategies for product promotion.
  • Deliver training sessions for Sales teams and customers.
  • Support Non-Conformance evaluations for quality assurance of products.
  • Monitor competitor activities and assess product performance.
  • Participate in technical discussions and evaluations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on status and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree with experience in the paper industry.
  • Familiarity with Andritz product technology and operations of paper machines.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
