We are in search of a motivated and quick-learning individual to become a vital part of our Sales Support Team in Rochester, NY. This team is dedicated to delivering exceptional sales experiences to small businesses, assisting them in securing the most suitable insurance coverage. The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn and collaborate within a team environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting a team of sales professionals, with significant responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and allocate all leads received via email from partners, sales representatives, or the company website.
- Update quote prices and statuses in Salesforce for the insurance sales advisors.
- Assist the sales department by reaching out to clients for necessary information via calls or emails.
- Perform various tasks to support the Sales Department effectively.
- Help producers in nurturing existing accounts, along with conducting marketing and coverage analysis.
- Provide quality submissions to multiple carriers, both within and outside their systems.
- Evaluate and analyze new risks.
- Ensure proper setup of files and databases.
- Collaborate with sales staff to communicate accurate information.
- Attach relevant documentation and communications in Salesforce.
- Conduct quality control on all new sales issued with carriers to ensure correct classification and documentation.
- Adopt a proactive and systematic approach to information gathering, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Communicate carrier risk appetites and relevant information to sales producers and management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in data entry or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with common computer systems and software.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
The salary range for this full-time position is $20—$22 USD per hour. Individual compensation is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
