Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Telemetry team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Neuro Telemetry Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including monitoring and managing vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
