Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Telemetry team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Neuro Telemetry RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including monitoring and managing vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Conducts thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
