Job Summary

As a Credentialing Specialist with Talent Software Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of medical staff credentialing and privileging processes. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the credentialing activities of the Medical Staff and Allied Health Staff, ensuring compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Credentialing Policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to Credentials, General Staff, and other Medical Staff committees and departments as directed.
  • Process requests for temporary privileges, monitor follow-up, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate verification of professional liability coverage, medical licensure, board certification, and other required certifications.
  • Assist with the coordination of annual dues process, credentialing/database management, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years in a healthcare setting performing credentialing, privileging, and medical staff services functions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, with attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.
  • Strong computer experience with database management, Microsoft Office, and Windows applications.
  • Experience with Joint Commission and other healthcare regulatory bodies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
