Position Overview:

This role is designed for a dedicated RN looking to make a significant impact in the education of Emergency Department personnel. The Clinical Educator will focus on onboarding, compliance with regulatory standards, and managing competencies across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and competencies.
  • Design, implement, and assess educational programs, employing effective evaluation methods to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Create and/or curate instructional materials and teaching aids.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of educational activities within the Learning Management System.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into nursing education, ensuring care is tailored to the specific needs of patients.
  • Uphold professional nursing standards as outlined in the nursing practice model, guided by the ANA Code of Ethics.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Regular activities include sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements.
  • Visual acuity for near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to hear alarms and other auditory signals.
  • Proficient in data entry and keyboard usage.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.

Required Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by a Compact State or the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
