Job Summary

OU Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a RN Navigator in the Advanced Heart Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care throughout the continuum of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide expert nursing care, including direct clinical practice, consultation, education, and research.
  • Use clinical expertise and management skills to direct patient/family education and services to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external interdisciplinary team members to achieve excellence in patient service throughout the plan of care.
  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and document staff development related to patient/family education and quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Three (3) years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting.
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, practices, techniques, procedures, and standards.
  • Knowledge of the principles of supervising staff.
  • Skill in planning and organizing nursing care, applying advanced nursing clinical skills, maintaining records and charts, preparing written reports, and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
