Position Overview

In the role of Junior Risk Management Analyst, the selected candidate will assist in all facets of risk monitoring and reporting within the Alternative Credit and Fixed Income division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate precise and insightful risk reports utilizing proprietary risk assessment models.
  • Deliver comprehensive insights into significant fluctuations in risk metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with software developers to create and enhance risk management tools.
  • Partner with the risk team and portfolio managers to refine and advance risk models for intricate financial instruments.
  • Conduct data analysis to enhance our risk management framework.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science).
  • Familiarity with fixed income and credit instruments along with trading strategies.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial markets.
  • Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python or C#.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of options pricing theory and hedging strategies.
  • Ability to analyze extensive datasets using SQL.
  • Self-motivated individual with the capacity to make informed decisions and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills with the confidence to question established methods.
  • CFA designation is advantageous but not mandatory.
