Job Summary

Southern Arkansas University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Acquisitions Associate to join our team. As an Acquisitions Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our real estate investment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Sourcing: Identify and assess potential industrial property acquisitions, conducting thorough market research and analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and modeling for potential acquisitions, ensuring accurate and comprehensive evaluations.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence processes, including property inspections and document review, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Investment Memos: Create investment memos and presentations for internal evaluation, effectively communicating key findings and recommendations.
  • Negotiations and Transactions: Support negotiations and transaction processes, ensuring timely and successful completion of acquisitions.
  • Database Management: Update property databases and acquisition records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related degree program.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent research and data analysis abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Self-driven with a keen interest in real estate and investments.
