Position Overview
As a Junior Risk Management Analyst, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting all facets of risk monitoring and reporting within the Alternative Credit and Fixed Income sector.
Responsibilities
- Generate precise and insightful risk reports utilizing our proprietary risk assessment models.
- Deliver a comprehensive understanding of significant fluctuations in risk metrics.
- Collaborate with software developers to create and enhance risk management tools.
- Work alongside the risk team and portfolio managers to develop and refine risk models for complex financial instruments.
- Conduct data analysis to strengthen our risk management framework.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science).
- Familiarity with fixed income and credit instruments, as well as trading strategies.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in financial markets.
- Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python or C#.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Basic knowledge of options pricing theory and hedging strategies.
- Ability to analyze extensive datasets using SQL.
- Self-motivated individual with the capacity to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge existing methodologies.
- CFA designation is advantageous but not mandatory.
