Position Overview:

As a Lead IT Business Systems Consultant at Saxon Global, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with both Business and IT teams. This position demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing projects within the FCE domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer projects from inception to completion in the capacity of a Business Systems Analyst.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, and coordinate various project activities. Conduct workshops, including story-boarding sessions, and convert story-boarding outputs into digital formats while contributing insights during design discussions.
  • Engage in strategic roadmap discussions and vendor evaluations, ensuring clear communication between IT and stakeholders regarding developments and requirements.
  • Establish robust relationships with clients, analyzing and documenting both current and prospective business process models.
  • Document requirements, business rules, and data needs from a business perspective.
  • Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the creation of UAT scripts.
  • Collaborate with clients, IT project managers, architects, developers, and quality assurance teams to address solutions and potential risks.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to training and communication teams, supporting user deployment activities as necessary.
  • Organize internal review sessions between technical and UX teams to evaluate mockups, and collaborate with the data lake team to draft calculation rules.
  • Create comprehensive business rule documents for each Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and develop functional/non-functional requirement documents for dashboards.
  • Maintain and manage requirements by sprint in JIRA, updating backlogs based on feedback.
  • Coordinate with the implementation team to provide clarifications and support UAT/business demonstrations.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, systems design, or a related field.

Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in analyzing business requirements, particularly in data-centric projects.
  • Experience in the commercial life sciences sector is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing high-complexity and high-risk initiatives.
  • A strong commitment to self-development and personal motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, demonstrating agility, flexibility, and effective time management.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data, Qlikview, SAS, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in developing end-user reporting and dashboard solutions is a valuable asset.
