Additional responsibilities may involve working with users to test, debug, and troubleshoot applications, ensuring software and systems quality and functionality, and rigorously applying information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and analyze requirements, defining scope, objectives, and conducting feasibility analysis. Creating a comprehensive Product Requirement Document and detailed Product Roadmap for the NLP Platform.
  • Creating diagrams, workflow maps, or other visuals to enhance system understanding.
  • Producing detailed wireframes and mockups using visualization tools for prototyping purposes.
  • Working closely with Data Management & Architecture teams to ensure compliance with accessibility, security policies, and guidelines.
  • Leading segments of large tasks or projects while developing and maintaining project management skills.
  • Participating in the implementation of system patches, updates, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Project Managers/Scrum Masters, Architects, Engineers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and User Experience Designers on scope, solutions, constraints, and risks.
  • Working with a cross-functional IT organization to streamline solution implementations and maintain records of system integrations, changes, and incidents.
  • Developing and executing test plans along with other quality assurance measures; leading testing efforts such as user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc.
  • Providing timely communication regarding system changes and determining support and resource requirements associated with each change.

Qualifications:

  • [Education]: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Information Systems or a related field; a Master's degree in Business or Science is preferred.
  • [Domain]: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the Pharmaceutical or related sector.
  • Experience in the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
  • [Non-negotiables] Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
  • [Non-negotiables] Required to be on-site 3 days a week and/or as needed by the product team.
  • [Non-negotiables] Exceptional communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills; strong influencing skills are essential.
  • [Must Have] Hands-on experience with data-related initiatives.
  • Proven success in managing initiatives of high complexity, high profile, and large-scale programs.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented; capable of working both independently and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
  • Must possess hands-on experience with data-related initiatives.
  • Understanding and experience in machine learning and data science concepts is preferred.
